Job Title: Digital Communications Coordinator
Supervisor: Marissa Stacey, Communications and Marketing Director
Details: Full-time (40 hours per week), Hourly position
Description: The Digital Communications Coordinator must hold to the doctrine and constitution/by-laws of Boise Rescue Mission Ministries. The Digital Communications Coordinator must be a regular attendee of a local church and be willing to sign and adhere to the Mission’s Statement of Faith. The Digital Communications Coordinator is responsible for capturing, producing, and distributing high-quality digital content that supports the Mission’s brand and communication objectives. This role primarily focuses on videography, photography, social media management, and post-production editing. The ideal candidate is highly creative, tech-savvy, and able to work in fast-paced environments. The Digital Communications Coordinator is part of the Development Team and will collaborate closely with the Communications Team and other departments throughout the Mission.
Job Duties:
- Plan, shoot, and edit video and photo content for marketing campaigns, website, and social media platforms.
- Attend and capture video footage and photos at Mission events, lunches, banquets, and other occasions, ensuring high-quality visual representation.
- Manage and maintain video, photography, and audio equipment and digital archives.
- Edit videos and photos for quality and consistency across digital platforms, ensuring all visual content meets brand standards and specifications.
- Create, curate, and schedule content (videos, photos, graphics) across social media channels.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work within a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality content.
- Knowledge of video and photo editing software (Adobe Creative Suite).
- Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) and content optimization techniques.
- Ability to manage and troubleshoot digital equipment (cameras, microphones, etc.).
- Experience in graphic design is a bonus.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) including some evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license and use of personal car (mileage reimbursed) for travel within the Treasure Valley.
- Experience in digital media, videography, photography, or social media management.
- Experience in using cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for photography and videography.
- Experience in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro) and photo editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
