Data Entry Assistant/Receptionist - PT, Boise - Boise Rescue Mission Ministries

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Data Entry Assistant/Receptionist is a non-exempt position of Boise Rescue Mission Ministries that must hold to the doctrine and constitution/by-laws of the Mission. The Data Entry Assistant/Receptionist must be a regular attendee of a local church and be willing to sign and adhere to the Mission’s Statement of Faith.

The Data Entry Assistant/Receptionist works closely with the Receptionist, the Database Manager and the Development Team. This is a seasonal part-time position, 25 hours weekly (10am to 3pm) from October 9, 2023, to January 5, 2024.

Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Present a warm, welcoming atmosphere to everyone who comes to the front door.
Answer overflow phone calls/direct calls to individuals and facilities
Be aware of who is in the building and keep track of volunteers and others to direct all callsand in case of fire/emergency.
Be able to help with direct mail processing; open/sort/process donations/receipt using Excel,Word and Raiser’s Edge.
Online donations when donors call using our website (Online Donation – Boise RescueMission Ministries (boiserm.org)
Process Gift In Kind gifts using our database program
Data entry of volunteer applications and other information
Research media sources for data cleanup (Google/TruePeople.com, etc.)
Maintain and update donor database (data clean up, addition of new constituents, merging ofconstituents, responding to donor requests, etc.) as needed.
Operate folding and postage machines.
Keep outer office/break room/print room clean and neat.
Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Other tasks and assignments as necessary.

Skills/Qualifications:

A detail-oriented person with organizational skills. Typing (keyboard and 10 key), Data Entry experience, ability to analyze information and navigate multiple websites. Clean background. Financial acumen.
