Freedom from Hunger Food Drive
June 15

Come stop by your local Albertsons on June 15th during our the Mission’s Freedom from Hunger Food Drive, and help the Mission staff and programmers shop for hungry men, women, and children in the Treasure Valley. Summer time is in full-swing, and donations to the Mission begin to slow, but by grabbing a shopping list, the Mission can continue to keep the shelves stocked, and keep hundreds of guests from Boise, Nampa, and surrounding areas fed.
Donating is simple. Lists with the most urgent needs will be available online at BoiseRM.org/donate/current-needs. Just visit any of the six participating Albertsons listed below purchase meat, canned goods, or even hygiene items to donate, and drop them off with the Mission’s representatives at the front of the store.
These Albertson’s Treasure Valley Locations that are participating in this food drive are:
- Ten Mile and Cherry
- State and 16th
- McMillian and Eagle
- Broadway Market Street
- Fairview and Eagle Market Street
The generosity of individuals who participate in drives and events like Freedom from Hunger allows the Rescue Mission to provide a lifeline that people in desperate need can always depend on. Can’t wait to see you at your local Albertsons!
Boise Rescue Mission Ministries is very grateful for Albertsons’ partnership this summer.
