Veterans Day Luncheon is a lunch for the Mission’s veterans and invited community members to honor their service and loyalty to this country.

President/CEO of Boise Rescue Mission Ministries, Rev Bill Roscoe, who served in the Vietnam War, says, “Serving this country is an honor and privilege. It’s crucial that we as a community honor those who courageously dedicated their lives to defend this nation and support their fellow citizens. I extend a thank you to all Veterans. I am grateful for all Veterans and especially those who come to the Mission for assistance, take advantage of the opportunity and move on with life.”

In a coordinated effort with the Veterans Administration, Boise Rescue Mission Ministries’ Veterans Ministry Program is meeting the needs of homeless veterans in our community, without any Federal funding. Since its beginning in April 2010, the Veterans Ministry Program has helped more than 550 homeless veterans transition back to independence.
