Grace to Help in Time of Need

A man came to the red doors at City Light, our shelter in Boise for women and children, early this week looking for a local church.  He was from out of town, and his infant son was very ill and had been taken by ambulance to the hospital. What a blessing that this worried father was driving around looking for a pastor to pray with and found us. Our staff member Kim, who met with him, said, “We all have access to our heavenly Father, so I told him I would like to pray with him and that is what we did. When this kind of thing happens, it is one of the best things about working at the Mission!” We will continue to lift this little guy and his family up in prayer. Will you join us?

“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:15,16 ESV
