This July, both the Fairview (5544 W. Fairview Ave.) and Overland (6969 W. Overland Rd.) Grocery Outlet locations are teaming up with Boise Rescue Mission Ministries for the annual Independence from Hunger campaign. Kicking off Tuesday, July 1st, this month-long effort invites shoppers to take action against hunger and homelessness in our community.

Shoppers can make a difference by either donating at checkout or purchasing specially marked food items for guests staying in the Mission’s shelters. Every $5 donation earns customers a $5 coupon to use on a future shopping trip at that store.

At the end of July, Boise Rescue Mission Ministries will use the funds raised to buy the groceries and household items most needed to care for the people they serve.
