help for homeless veterans in the treasure valley

With a focus on taking care of more than just physical needs, Boise Rescue Mission Ministries has helped restore the lives of dozens of chronically homeless veterans across Ada and Canyon Counties with help from the Boise Veteran’s Affairs (VA) through our Veterans Ministry Program (VMP).

Since its start in 2010, this program has helped successfully transition more than 585 individuals. They have transitioned into independent living, providing each man and woman with a new chance at life.

our veterans ministry program

At Boise Rescue Mission Ministries, we recognize that each veteran is unique, and we are committed to caring for veterans of all ages — young and old. Our Veterans Ministry Program is specifically catered to reaching veterans’ needs, offering food and shelter, as well as care and counseling on a case-by-case basis.

We believe that caring for our community’s veterans is a long-term commitment, which is why we follow up regularly with all of the veterans who have gone through our VMP, visiting them in their homes and continuing the relationship of support and accountability they found at Boise Rescue Mission Ministries.
