Welcome to The Next Step, Curtis Road
Boise Rescue Mission Ministries' newest facility.

After careful consideration, our Board of Directors approved the purchase of a former assisted living facility at 1777 S. Curtis Road. We have planned this new facility in Boise - The Next Step, Curtis Road - to be a Transitional Christian Living Community that will significantly expand our capacity to help people take an intermediate step out of our emergency shelters toward independent living. This exciting new project will add an additional 58 critically needed transitional living apartments to the Mission's already existing Transitional Housing Program.

The Mission is seeking donations for the purchase and renovation of The Next Step and its ongoing operations. We deeply value your support and prayers as we continue to remodel and raise funds.

The Need

With over 60 years of experience, Boise Rescue Mission Ministries serves more than half (65%) of the homeless individuals in Idaho. After a crisis that results in homelessness, one of the biggest challenges to overcoming homelessness that our guests and program members face is finding housing while maintaining a supportive environment that increases the chances of success.
Sometimes, before qualifying for housing, our guests need to establish a work history, develop a resume, earn money to pay off debts, clean up their credit history, or put money in savings. Whatever the need, Boise Rescue Mission Ministries is working to provide the stable, supportive environment each person needs to accomplish their goals and get back on their feet through our Transitional Housing Program.
