Who does this fundraiser benefit?

When you sponsor a flag, your gift will directly support the men and women in our Veterans Ministry Program by providing meals, shelter, dental care, transitional housing, and more life-changing resources.

Can I volunteer to place the flags?

Thank you for your interest! The Idaho State Veterans Cemetery has a dedicated team of volunteers including the Young Marines, Sea Cadets, Trail Life Men, Boy Scouts, Heritage Girls and more who will be lovingly placing the flags. 

Can I choose where to place my flag?

While you won’t be able to choose a specific location for your flag sponsorship, you can make a gift in memory or in honor of a loved one. If you choose, we’ll also gladly send a card to their family to let them know about your meaningful tribute.

When is the Memorial Day Ceremony?

The Memorial Day Ceremony will be held at 10:00 am at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, located at 10100 Horseshoe Bend Rd, Boise, ID, 83714 on Monday, May 26^th.

What are the different sponsorship levels and benefits?

• $10 — Per flag you sponsor will be placed at a veteran’s grave for Memorial Day by local participating youth groups.
• $500 — Avenue Flag Sponsorship
  • 5’x9.5’ flag(s) flown along the Avenue of Flags through the cemetery and presented to you in a flag case
  • Sponsors will be recognized on our Community Partners webpage for one year and will receive a thank-you on our social media
• $10,000 — Monument Flag Sponsorship
  • 30’×50’ flag flown over the cemetery and presented to you in a custom commemorative flag case
  • Sponsors will be recognized on our Community Partners webpage, have their logo featured on our homepage for one year, and receive a thank-you shoutout on our social media
