JOB DESCRIPTION
Description: The Digital Communications Coordinator must hold to the doctrine and constitution/by-laws of Boise Rescue Mission Ministries, must be a regular attendee of a local church and be willing to sign and adhere to the Mission’s Statement of Faith. The Digital Communications Coordinator is responsible for capturing, producing, and distributing digital content primarily focusing on videography, photography, and social media.
The Digital Communications Coordinator is part of the Development Team and will collaborate closely with the Communications Team and other departments throughout the Mission.
Job Duties:
- Plan, shoot, and edit photo and video content for marketing campaigns, website, and social media platforms.
- Attend and capture photo and video footage at Mission events, lunches, banquets, and other occasions.
- Create, curate, and schedule content (videos, photos, graphics) across social media channels.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work within a collaborative team environment.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality content.
- Knowledge of video and photo editing software (Adobe Creative Suite) and social media platforms.
- Ability to manage and troubleshoot digital equipment (cameras, microphones, etc.).
- Experience in graphic design is a bonus.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma
- Ability to work full-time including some evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license and use of personal car (mileage reimbursed) for travel within the Treasure Valley.
- Experience in digital media, videography, photography, or social media management.
- Experience using cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
