Job Title:  Digital Communications Coordinator

Supervisor:  Marissa Stacey, Communications and Marketing Director

Details: Full-time (40 hours per week), Hourly position

Description: The Digital Communications Coordinator must hold to the doctrine and constitution/by-laws of Boise Rescue Mission Ministries.  The Digital Communications Coordinator must be a regular attendee of a local church and be willing to sign and adhere to the Mission’s Statement of Faith. The Digital Communications Coordinator is responsible for capturing, producing, and distributing high-quality digital content that supports the Mission’s brand and communication objectives. This role primarily focuses on videography, photography, social media management, and post-production editing. The ideal candidate is highly creative, tech-savvy, and able to work in fast-paced environments. The Digital Communications Coordinator is part of the Development Team and will collaborate closely with the Communications Team and other departments throughout the Mission.

Job Duties:

  • Plan, shoot, and edit video and photo content for marketing campaigns, website, and social media platforms.
  • Attend and capture video footage and photos at Mission events, lunches, banquets, and other occasions, ensuring high-quality visual representation.
  • Manage and maintain video, photography, and audio equipment and digital archives.
  • Edit videos and photos for quality and consistency across digital platforms, ensuring all visual content meets brand standards and specifications.
  • Create, curate, and schedule content (videos, photos, graphics) across social media channels.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work within a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality content.
  • Knowledge of video and photo editing software (Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) and content optimization techniques.
  • Ability to manage and troubleshoot digital equipment (cameras, microphones, etc.).
  • Experience in graphic design is a bonus.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) including some evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driver’s license and use of personal car (mileage reimbursed) for travel within the Treasure Valley.
  • Experience in digital media, videography, photography, or social media management.
  • Experience in using cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for photography and videography.
  • Experience in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro) and photo editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).

JOB DESCRIPTION

Description: The Data Entry Assistant/Receptionist is a non-exempt position of Boise Rescue Mission Ministries that must hold to the doctrine and constitution/by-laws of the Mission. The Data Entry Assistant/Receptionist works closely with the Development Team. 

Job Summary: Boise Rescue Mission Ministries’ Women and Children’s Shelters in Boise and Nampa currently have full-time and part-time positions available in various shifts including swing and grave shifts. The resident advisor oversees and assists guests staying in our emergency shelters for homeless women and children.

Job Duties:

  1. Present a warm, welcoming atmosphere to everyone who comes to the front door. 
  2. Answer phone calls/direct calls to individuals and facilities 
  3. Be aware of who is in the building and keep track of volunteers and others to direct all calls and in case of fire/emergency 
  4. Be able to help with direct mail processing; open/sort/process donations/receipt using donor database. 
  5. Online donations when donors call using our website 
  6. Processing Gift In Kind gifts using our database program 
  7. Data entry of volunteer applications and other information 
  8. Research media sources for data cleanup 
  9. Maintain and update donor database (data clean up, addition of new constituents, merging of constituents, responding to donor requests, etc) as needed. 
  10. Operate folding and postage machines 
  11. Keep outer office/break room/print room clean and neat
  12. Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential. 
  13. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 
  14. Other tasks and assignments as necessary. 

 Qualifications and Skills: Detail oriented person with organization skills. Typing (keyboard and 10 key), Data Entry experience, ability to analyze information and navigate multiple websites. Clean background. Friendly.

Job Summary: Located in Boise, we currently has a fulltime position with a shift of 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. This position requires motivation, ability to learn quickly, thinking on your feet, plus following instructions carefully. 

Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to): 

Sorting of Donations 

Loading and Loading of Trucks 

Assisting donors with their donations 

Assist with Deliveries and Pickups of items being donated 

Help with other tasks and assignments as necessary

    JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker will provide routine food preparation. 

     Supervisory Responsibilities: 

    • Welcomes volunteers and gives direction as needed. 
    • Directs Daily tasks for assistant. 

    Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to): 

    • Assists with food preparation as directed, operating food production equipment as required to complete tasks. 
    • Operates stove, oven, convection oven, grill. 
    • Maintains, cleans, and sanitizes workstations after each meal daily. 
    • Cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other containers and returns to appropriate location in the kitchen area. 
    • Refills condiments or other supplies. 
    • Follows all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure quality food service. 
    • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

     Required Skills/Abilities: 

    • Ability to read and follow instructions. 
    • Good verbal communication skills. 
    • Ability to operate cooking and food preparation equipment. 
    • Understanding of proper food handling and sanitation procedures. 
    • Basic computer skills

    Job Summary: The Rescue Mission currently has a full-time position available in our men’s facilities which may include weekends and travel to other Mission facilities. This position requires motivation, the ability to learn quickly, thinking on your feet, plus following instructions carefully.

    Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

    • Administrative duties include filing, data entry, reception, and resource assistance.

    • Interact with guests in a positive, compassionate manner

    Boise Rescue Mission is seeking a highly qualified, self-motivated, compassionate candidate to assist the Development Team in the Administration Office. Responsibilities include processing donations, entering information into the database, merging donation information into Word and printing thank you letters. 

     Term of Employment: This position is seasonal (October 14, 2024, to January 10, 2025) and requires 30 hours per week. Applicant must hold to the doctrine and constitution/by-laws of Boise Rescue Mission Ministries, be a regular attendee of a local church and willing to sign and adhere to the Mission’s Statement of Faith (see employment application). 

    Job Summary: Boise Rescue Mission Ministries’ Women and Children’s Shelters in Boise and Nampa currently have full-time and part-time positions available in various shifts including swing and grave shifts.     Job Duties:

    1. Phone calls and visitors 
    2. Process donor data related to the Development Department. Print reports. Merge information into thank you letter template. Print, use folding and postage machines to mail thank you letters. 
    3. Maintain donor database accuracy by adding new constituents, updating addresses, etc. 
    4. Print and prepare materials for mailings. 
    5. Assist in sorting and opening mail. 
    6. Help with special projects and events, as needed. 

     Qualifications and Skills:

    •  Heart for service and compassion for homeless men, women and children in our community. 
    • Clean background check. 
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. 
    • Experience with 10 key. 
    • Accurate and quick keyboard skills. 
    • Ability to concentrate on a single task for long periods of time. 
    • Attention to detail. 
    • Self-starter and highly motivated. 
    • Problem solver. 
    • Experience with Raiser’s Edge database, a plus.
