JOB DESCRIPTION

Boise Rescue Mission Ministries is looking for men and women who love Jesus and want to help give homeless individuals a safe and stable place to get a new start in life. 

The Warehouse Support Staff must hold to the doctrine and constitution/by-laws of the Mission. The Warehouse Technician must be a regular attendee of a local church and be willing to sign and adhere to the Mission’s Statement of Faith. 

Job Summary: Located in Boise, we currently has a fulltime position with a shift of 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. This position requires motivation, ability to learn quickly, thinking on your feet, plus following instructions carefully. 

Responsibilities and Necessary Skills Include:

  • Sorting of Donations 
  • Loading and unloading of trucks 
  • Assisting donors with their donations 
  • Assist with Deliveries and Pickups of items being donated 
  • Help with other tasks and assignments as necessary 
  • Employees may also participate in various fundraising events throughout the year 

Knowledge and Skills

  • General computer skills 
  • Capable of operating Microsoft office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) 
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to work in a past paced constantly changing environment 
  • Detail-oriented and good organizational skills 
  • Capable of working as a part of a team 
  • Clean driving record 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
